The Chef Philippe Jeansing and Céline Taffarello won the world’s best Cassoulet Toulousain award in May 2022 and the Lucien Vanel prize in the category “Best Cassoulet” in November 2022.

Our restaurant, located near Revel, Castelnaudary and the Saint Ferreol lake, offers you a traditional gastronomic cuisine in a place full of history.

Thanks to its different menus and its carte, the restaurant of the Auberge du Poids Public is ideal for a gastronomic or business meal. Philippe Jeansing, the Head Chef, uses fresh products, carefully selected and worked with finesse and respect for taste.

You can enjoy our refined cuisine in a luminous room warmed by a honey-coloured fireplace and old stones or on our shaded terrace equipped with misters for hot summer days. For more intimacy, another room with ochre and brick tones is available for private group meals or business meetings.

In all cases, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Lauragais countryside.
